The Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST) through the Africa Centre for Research, Agricultural Advancement, Teaching Excellence and Sustainability in Food and Nutrition Security (CREATES-FNS), Arusha, invites qualified young Tanzanian scientists to apply for a postdoctoral research fellowship position in Spirulina. The postdoc fellow will work closely with the Center to develop and validate a profitable value chain based on cultivation and processing of Spirulina, using spirulina as a green source of nutritional ingredients for food, nutraceuticals, aquafeed and transforming Spirulina biomass into valuable ingredients for food, nutraceuticals, and aquafeed in Tanzania. The successful applicant is expected to start the fellowship immediately after receiving notification within March-April 2022 and lasting for two years, based on funds availability.
